Church History of Holts Corner Baptist Church
Our Church's Story
On the third Sunday in February 1897, our church was organized into a congregation following a separation from Riggs Church of Christ. The Pastor of Holts Corner Baptist Church at that time was J.W. Patton. Our Baptist church history shows that we quickly became one of the first churches in the area to incorporate instruments into our worship music. The Church continued to thrive even after a fire destroyed the original building, and it has remained committed to serving the Lord to this day.
